This is my July Quilting Block for Megan. It is all hand appliqued, some hearts have running stitch and others have blanket stitch. some will fray in the wash. The square is large 16" so the hearts are quite big, she had a heart theme and sent these fabrics. Everyone has made amazing heart blocks this month and we were allowed to be creative. Next Month is a bird theme, I already have an idea !
This is the Indian Hatchet Block I did in June for Monika. It was a really fun one to piece and tested my piecing skills. I think a whole quilt in this would look amazing.
