Hobart for a Day

Ahoy There !
Botanical Gardens in Hobart

We have had a lovely day in Hobart. First we set off to find some headphones so Lucy can listen to music in the car, then we wandered down to Salamanca for a spot of lunch, a quick trip around the beautiful old sandstone buildings near the Henry James Hotel and back up to Hobart city for a coffee before heading over to the Botanical Gardens.

There were 10 baby ducklings swimming in the pond (above), Lucy squealed with delight.
We spent a good hour wandering around looking at all the beautiful flowers and trees, Lucy threw some money in the wishing well, magically her wish came true with a chocolate frog appearing (ta-da).

We took a different drive back to Abels Bay via Woodbridge, this windy road offers the most beautiful views of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
