I have spent the last week cutting out some 520 strips for my Sunday Morning Liberty Quilt and this weekend I started to piece it together. It is exciting because it comes together quite quickly and I think it will be quicker to make the top than it was to cut out all the pieces. I am loving the way it is coming together and there is no specific piece that has to go with another, it is all random, and given the structure of my weeks in order to achieve work commitments and ensure I have the right ingredients for dinner each night it is a welcome change to do something that does not acquire too much planning.
