Tears to Tranquility

Bottle Brush out the Front
We left Perth yesterday for the first leg of our trip, to Tasmania. We had a long flight after tears and tantrums at the airport as Lucy didn't want her pink teddy to go through the x-ray machine.  She finally settled down when we boarded the plane, all of sudden she was very excited that she was going on a holiday. We arrived in Hobart and arrived to a cool but sunny day.

Mum greeted us with a yummy dinner followed by profiteroles and Tassie strawberries. We all went to bed early and Lucy slept for 12 hours, so did Darren.

We awoke this morning with the sound of the rain and the birds, pure tranquility. These photos are taken in Mum and Dads Garden. Mum has created a pretty special vege patch.
A lazy day today and tomorrow we are off to collect the Christmas Ham from a friends pig farm.

  1. Lovely to be able to read how it's all going, Nicola. Have been thinking about you all and was wondering how the flight went.
    Love to all
