Birthdays and Ballet

Trying to hold onto all things wonderful that make me feel like a kid again I bought a gorgeous pair of ballet shoes and embraced turning 40.

My wonderful hubby joined forces with my parents and bought me a beautiful time piece, now every time I look at my watch I think of them. My darling daughter bought me an antique thimble, she kept it a secret from me for a few days and when she gave it to me she said 'it is so you don't hurt your finger mummy!'
