Annie P Paperie - Lovely !

Annie P Paperie is the first paper place I remember in Perth. It has been around for such a long time. I love going there, buying things, and finding a bit of time to indulge in my creative side. Full of inspiration, and gorgeous things to make and do, it is still one of my favourite shops in Perth.

Coming for a Visit

Mum made me this beautiful guest book when we moved into our new home, everytime someone stays they fill out our book, it is a lovely reminder of friends and family that have stayed with us and also a reminder of the work we have done on our home.

This book is full of beautiful sections, some with small envelopes to write little notes in, some pages have a lovely stamped detail. It really is a treasure.

My Clever Mum

My Mum has been book binding for as long as I can remember and has made me some beautiful books and little treasures. The papers Mum uses are beautiful and they are all so beautifully done. She is very clever.

One of my favourites is a tiny little book with just one caption inside, have a peek.  It says "May this be all the space you need for angry thoughts"

A Few of My Favourite Things

My saved card collection is growing, rather than keep them in a pretty box I decided to frame a few of my favourite ones. An envelope sent from a friend while she was in paris, easter card from Mum and Dad, handmade bits from Mum, Good Luck wishes from friends and special ones from my lovely hubby to be are just a few things hiding in my collage. Birthday Card

I have been making cards for years and find it very hard to buy a card given that I have a cupboard full of card stock, paper and embelishments.  This is a really simple card made with dye cuts that I bought from my favourite supplier in Perth called Paper Fusion. They have beautiful ideas and embelishments to make homemade cards easy, they also do classes. Fun fun.
